Found this challenge on Stacy Julian's Blog and thought I would play along...
From the left:
1. My Orla Kiely purse - a special purchase I made when shopping in NYC during my great USA adventure in 2008 (it was my Carrie Bradshaw moment LOL). You will also note the Orla Kiely bag in the background. My dear sister gave me this for Christmas and I was so overwhelmed with her generosity (Orla Kiely is just a little pricey!)
2. The little black purse with the "J" holds my lipstick, lip balm and chap stick (next to it). I know this little chapstick collection is very Napoleon Dynamite of me, but I hate dry lips.
3. Dettol hand sanitizer for those times when my hands feel gross or I can't find a tap. I'm no germ-a-phobe, but sometimes the "ick" factor is too much.
4. Panadol...I hate having a headache and I very rarely do, but I need to know that I can stop one if I need to!
5. A retractable tape measure - you just never know when you have to measure something LOL
6. A chain that holds trolley "coins" for Aldi & Coles supermarkets. This way I can still get a trolley even if I don't have a dollar or two dollar coin on me (my life is one big exciting party isn't it!!!!)
7. The Strawberry...magically turns into a carry bag so I can say no to a plastic one.
8. Mints
9. Work keys - loose these at my peril
10. Phone - basic no frills (I am barely phone literate and I don't text, and I think I just heard a very loud gasp from blog land!!!)
11. Tissues - I will always have a tissue in my bag. Always.
12. My Montblanc pen - of course I own a Montblanc pen that I throw in my purse without a care in the world. Coughmaybeitcamefromhongkongcough.
13. Chewing gum - the only one I will buy for that fresh breath confidence :)
14. A change bag with $2.00 coins in it - our town has just introduced parking meters (grrrrrrrrrr) all around town so now I have to always make sure I have a $2.00 coin ready for when I park. This does not make me happy one little bit.
Now that was pretty exciting wasn't it? I may change bags but these items are always along for the ride.
