the midnight scrapper

it's beginning to look a lot like christmas...

Where has December gone? It's alrady Christmas Eve (I should be in bed - work tomorrow today) so here is a very brief recap of what's been going on.

Both boys recieved awards at the end of year ceremony at school - proud parents!

Byron got a haircut - to the eternal joy of his grandparents!!

The presents were all wrapped early in this years theme colours of red, white & silver.

Made some super simple chocolate & lolly bags and finished theme off with a topper i made from scraps; all ready to get handed to family and friends on Christmas Day.

And shock of all shocks I have kept up with my December Daily project and have only the 24th & 25th entries to go. I had to keep it really simple this year (and I did think about not doing it as I am still going strong with Project 365) and I concentrated on all things about our Christmas rather than all the things we do in December (covered in 365).

Sounds complicated I know, but it's not! Here are the first few pages and I will show the whole album soon.

obviously I have been busy getting up to no good...

This little list for Santa was penned by Byron (see top of good list) and it would seem that my Christmas stocking will be a little light this year.

Will be back shortly with a catch up post, but now I'm going to go to bed knowing that ALL my Christmas presents are bought and wrapped. Yay me! 

drumroll...we have a winner!

Now I know it would seem far superior to use the Random Integer Generator but around here we decided to kick it old school and pick a winner out of a hat  ( I don't know how to do the whole random integer thing  so that probably effected our choice LOL)

Under the strictest of conditions (Byron was supervising the process) we printed off the comments, folded them into exactly the same size squares, mixed them around and Byron chose the winner.
