With less than a month to Christmas, and a very real desire to not pull an all-nighter on the 23rd of December LOL, I have got my crafty act together and begun the projects I hope to work on over the month.
First up is the advent calander for the boys...which is the same one I used last year but all the little boxes are filled and ready to go. I wish these really hot days would hold off as I am trying not to end up with little boxes of melted chocolate. Not all the boxes have chocolate in them, but a good many do - though I will say that this would in no way hinder the eating of the chocolate by either of my boys!
Next crafting cab off the rank is a little project I do for my Mum & Dad each year. This year I made a Christmas Memories journal with 31 days of prompts in a jar. The plan is that each day my Mum will take a prompt and write down her memeory. Just a few minutes each day for a whole month of memories about Christmases past & present.
The album was $7.00 from Target, the jar $3.00 from Woolworths and then I just worked from my stash. I did it in a day and I know my Mum will love filling it in (Dad will be excited as well, but he will do a good job of hiding it. OK that's what Iam going to tell myself!)
Next up...get my December Daily album together and start taking pictures come December 1.
Then it's straight onto the Christmas cards...I do believe that all the bribes in the world will not get Oscar to participate this year, and I can understand that. sigh.
I also need to catch up this weeks journalling for my Project 365.
So it's back to the craft table for me and more "Little House on the Praire" DVD's (no judgements people LOL)
