I love reading all these random tags and finding out things about people that I would never have guessed LOL, and yet when I get tagged I panic and wonder if my answers will seem strange / insane / pathetic! So here goes with a few I received lately...
I was tagged by the lovely Lee for this one:
10 Years Ago:
Byron was nearly 2 and Oscar had just started school. I was finishing up my Associate Diploma in Library Science and was a stay at home mum.
Things on my to-do list today:
1. Washing (this is always on my list)
2. Fill my new MM carousel with all my most used tools, so everything is right at my fingertips when I sit down to scrap or craft.
3. Work on my final cards for emily's art journal challenge. I am so close to finishing and have even made the album to put them all in.
4. Catch up on all the new shows I tapped this week (Aussie TV ratings always start with a bang and the old DVD recorder has been working hard all week!). Of course I plan to combine this task with the one above LOL.
What I would do if I were suddenly made a billionaire:
I always joke with my boss that when I win big I will leave a "see ya" note on her computer and she will know exactly what it means LOL. After that hubby & I are heading to Sydney to the nearest Tiffany store and we will purchase the classic tiffany setting 3 carat solitare diamond ring set in platinum (yes I know the exact ring LOL). After that, it's travel, travel and more travel.
3 of my bad habits:
1. Stay up to late, even though I am bone tired.
2. Spend to much time on the computer when I know I have other (more pressing) things to do!
3. I spend way to much money on magazines & books (I work in a library, you would think I would get my fill LOL)
3 places I have lived:
1. Wagga Wagga
2. Wollongong
3. London
5 jobs that I have had:
1. Check out chick (my part time job when I was 16 and at school)
2. Nanny (to 2 kids, when I was working in London)
3. Travel Consultant (what I did when we came home from living & traveling in Europe)
4. Library Officer (what I do now)
5 Things people don't know about me:
1. I can't sleep without a sheet or doona over at least a small portion of my body (even when it is 40C I still need to feel the sheet on me somewhere.
2. I love all things "Little house on the Praire" . I have just reread Laura Ingalls Wilder's series of books for the umpteeth time and I still love them so.
3. I want to have Martha Stewarts craft room (the green one) more than is considered normal. Ha!
4. I love action movies (think Rambo, Die Hard etc) even though I live and die for a good musical (think Grease, Dirty Dancing etc).
5. I love, love, love chocolate but I will only eat Cadbury Milk Chocolate (plain or with almonds; their scorched peanuts are THE BEST EVER). People buy me Lindt or some other exotic brand as a gift and I nearly cry...give me my cadbury people!
I tag:
The second tag I got was from the wonderful paper artist Sarah...
Old Favourite: You Tube - I can loose days roaming around there LOL (is it wrong to have so many 80's video clips in your "favourites"?)
Food Favourite: I am so not into cooking and the only site I have bookmaked (hangs head in shame) is one for my crock pot. I sooooo love coming home from work in winter and a hot dinner is ready (summer is easy - lots of salads which can be made in 5 minutes)
New Favourite: Loved this site at Christmas for all the great ideas melissa shared - One Crafty Mumma
Challenge Favourite: I usually just find things on people's blogs / websites (see reference above to my habbit of spending too much time on the computer LOL)
Movie stuff Favourite: I just use google when I want to know anything about a movie!
Clothing Favourite: I never look at clothes on the web so I will link up a jewellery site that I play around in...My Pandora Jewlery (see how quickly you can spend your money in the bracelet builder section - I about died when I added mine up LOL).
Creative Favourite: Can't go past Ali, the new garden each month, and the simple studio.
Guilty Pleasure Favourite: Martha Stewart - what's not to love on this huge site, Pioneer Woman - because it's such a fun read and she takes cool photos, Pink is the New Blog - for all my celeb goss and Trent cracks me up, A librarian's Guide to Etiquette makes me laugh because they get it so right!
Paper Favourite: Compendium, Amazon (books are made from paper!!), Print & Pattern.
OK, enough about me, I tag...
